DE MARCO, Florense Artist emigrated in his
early infancy in Rome, therefore Roman actually,
but very attached to his origins, investigator
of his roots, and from his sense of irony necessary
to face so serious and dramatic topics like those
related to the emigration, is born this cardboard
suitcase, bind with a string which is untying itself
and will perhaps be opened revealing its secrets,
maybe the suitcase will leave the plans for a rational
development of our land resources to not to be forced
to emigrate anymore...
--We
believe that if we work together to 'put in
history' and to the analysis of what represented and
represents the EMIGRATION for
the southern Italian people and our city, some answers
for the future we'll find it.
